Terms & Conditions

  • Welcome to The Fizziquarium! By using our online tutoring services, you agree to these Terms and Conditions. Please read them carefully before booking a session or purchasing a tutoring package.

Services Provided

  • The Fizziquarium provides personalized online physics tutoring services to students.

  • Sessions are delivered through Zoom, and each session is customized to meet the student’s learning needs.

Booking and Payment

  • All tutoring sessions must be scheduled in advance through our booking system or by direct communication.

  • Payment must be received before the start of each session to confirm your booking.

  • Accepted payment methods include credit/debit cards, Zelle, or Cash App.

  • Rates are subject to change, but confirmed bookings will not be affected by future rate adjustments.

Cancellation and Rescheduling

  • Sessions canceled with at least 24 hours’ notice may be rescheduled or refunded in full.

  • Cancellations made within 24 hours of the session time are non-refundable.

  • If The Fizziquarium must cancel a session, a full refund or rescheduled time will be offered.

Tutor Responsibilities:

  • Provide engaging, accurate, and effective physics instruction.

  • Communicate promptly and professionally with students and parents.

  • Maintain confidentiality and respect for all learners.

Student/Parent Responsibilities:

  • Ensure timely attendance and active participation in sessions.

  • Provide a quiet, distraction-free environment for online learning.

  • Communicate goals, questions, and challenges openly with the tutor.

Refund Policy

  • No refunds are available for completed sessions.

  • Refunds for prepaid sessions will only be considered with at least 24 hours’ notice prior to the unused session.

Intellectual Property

  • All lesson materials, worksheets, and resources provided by The Fizziquarium are the intellectual property of The Fizziquarium. These materials are for personal use only and may not be copied, distributed, or shared without written consent.

Limitation of Liability

  • The Fizziquarium strives to support academic growth but does not guarantee specific grades or outcomes. We are not liable for technological issues, lost data, or interruptions beyond our control.

Confidentiality

  • All personal and academic information shared with The Fizziquarium will remain confidential and used solely for tutoring purposes.

Termination of Services

  • Either party may terminate tutoring services with reasonable notice. The Fizziquarium reserves the right to terminate services immediately in cases of inappropriate behavior, repeated cancellations, or breach of these terms.

Dispute Resolution

  • In the event of a disagreement, both parties agree to attempt resolution through good faith discussion before pursuing formal legal action.

Governing Law

  • These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the State of Georgia, USA. Any disputes will be resolved in the appropriate courts of that jurisdiction.

Confidentiality & Privacy

  • All student information and session content are kept confidential.

  • No personal information will be shared with third parties without consent.

  • Recording of sessions is not permitted unless agreed upon in advance by both tutor and student/parent.

Limitation of Liability

  • The Fizziquarium provides tutoring support but cannot guarantee specific grades, test scores, or academic outcomes.

  • The tutor is not responsible for missed deadlines, incomplete assignments, or grades outside of tutoring sessions.

Agreement

By scheduling tutoring sessions with The Fizziquarium, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms and Conditions.
